In celebration of Pride Month, which provides an opportunity to reflect on equality, diversity, rights, and democratic coexistence, Usach's Faculty of Administration and Economics (FAE) highlights the work of Dr. Fabiola Miranda. Based in the Department of Management and Public Policy, Dr. Miranda’s academic career centers on how feminist theory and public administration can reshape state institutions to foster equality and democratic governance.

The Usach Faculty of Administration and Economics (FAE) has contributed key research to one of the country's most significant technical documents for national economic debate. In March 2026, the Ministry of Finance published the official Tax Statistics Report, a comprehensive publication that compiles estimates on critical tax variables, evaluates scenarios regarding a potential first-category tax reduction, and delivers data-backed evidence using administrative records from the Internal Revenue Service (SII).

For the second consecutive year, the Faculty of Administration and Economics (FAE) at the University of Santiago, Chile (Usach), has received international recognition. This time, the honor comes from Elsevier, one of the world’s leading academic publishers, with the Best Empirical Academic Scientific Study Award.

In a new milestone for academic production at the Faculty of Administration and Economics at the University of Santiago de Chile, Dr. Enrique Marinao-Artigas, director of the Master’s in Marketing and academic at the Department of Administration at FAE Usach, published an article in the prestigious scientific journal Review of Managerial Science (Q1 in the Management category of the SSCI index). The work, entitled Antecedents of business tourist loyalty: the moderating role of familiarity and emotional and cognitive experiences, was co-authored with Dr.

Dr. Enrique Marinao-Artigas, Director of the Master’s in Marketing and a faculty member in the Department of Administration at the Faculty of Administration and Economics (FAE) at the University of Santiago, Chile (Usach), has achieved a significant milestone in academic publishing. He, along with Dr. Karla Barajas-Portas (Anahuac University, Mexico) and Dr. Leslier Valenzuela-Fernández (University of Chile), has published a compelling article in the prestigious Review of Managerial Science, a Q1 journal in the Management category of the SSCI index.
